Like I say to my students, back on task.

What did Mooch say?

They asked him about his Fumble drill. It showed film of him with the Lions going over the four points to hold a football. He was all pumped up about the drill. Then he ask the coaches to go over the drill. And one by one in front of the whole team four diffrent coaches go over one point each. Then it shows him with the 49ers going over the same drill almost word for word using the same coachs and them doing the same presentation of the four points drill.

Then it showed a stat that since he had been in the NFL he lost avg. 1.2 fumbles a game. He stated "The drill works"

It also showed Andy Sugarman who was at BYU before Mooch and has followed him ever since. It showed him picking at Sugarman. Said the Sugarman was the guy who told him when he scored if the "chart" says go for one or go for 2. He says they will be waiting for the opening kickoff and Sugarman will tell him if "We score go for one"

It was late I didnt see it until the 1 oclock showing. But he seemed like he loved his job. The guy knows how to win. I know he has not won the Big one But, my hope his first is with the Lions.

i seen the early portion of it last night and it was actually kinda funny because basically they were showing him clips of things he has said and done through the last couple years and he would comment and crack jokes about it.....it was really good

I enjoyed it as well (and TiVO'd it for later viewing)! I was most surprised at how picky Mooch is about everything. Better not have your shirt hanging out, shorts too loose, etc... He is constantly on everyone about little things. Especially if you are a QB (Detmer).

He even made them practice the huddle a number of times until they got it right. It was funny seeing pros practice how to huddle.

He has a nice mix of being passionate, a good sense of humor and attention to detail. It was a good show, much better than Part 1.

And it killed the myth that TO and Mooch hate each other.
