Post Garcia eager to push Joey
I heard clips when Garcia first came to town and how he knew this was Joeys spot. Now I hear clips of him and he is all out gunning for the #1 spot. He claims he is doing it to push Joey to make him better  What a nice guy

Based on what I have heard from the minicamps, Garcia hasn't pushed Joey at all. Sounds like Joey is the one looking very sharp and Jeff has been off target.

Thanks, that is very interesting. Very different opinions are being formed from the same minicamp. I will have to try to find some other opinions. If anyone finds any quotes comparing the two QBs, please post them in this thread.

I guess it depends on who you believe.

Killer - Joey is much sharper
Fowler - Garcia is the sharper one

Maybe someone should check with Mooch and see what he thinks, since he's the one that counts.

Actually Mooch said himself that Garcia hasn't been doing good and that he does much better come game day.

I've heard the same thing. Mooch has said that Garcia doesn't light it up in practice, but is at his best when playing in a game.

While the Killer might be wrong more often than right one thing he hasn't been is in Joey Harrington's corner since the team failed to meet his 8-8 prediction.

That fact that Mooch is even talking about Garcia's lackluster mini-camp tells me Mike Fowler is just seeing what he wants to see.

Not sure who it was, but on The Huge Show yesterday, it was said that Joey looked very sharp, throwing deep and accurate during 7 on none. When the defense came on the field he was back to his inconsistency and checking down too quickly. Garcia was said to be showing poise and accuracy against the D.
