 Wanna meet some Lions??
For those in the Detroit Northeastern Metro area (Sterling Heights, Macomb, etc.) there will be some of the Lions at Patridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township this Saturday and Sunday.
Schedule:
Saturday, Oct. 8, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Jahvid Best, running back 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.: Brandon Pettigrew, tight end 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.: Stephen Tulloch, linebacker
Sunday, Oct. 9, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.: Nate Burleson, wide receiver 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Louis Delmas, safety 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.: Herman Moore, former wide receiver
ESPN commentator Mike Tirico will be there as well.
This is all brought about by GMC and Monday Night Football.
Unfortunately, I can't go either day, since I have a golf outing on Saturday and we have testing at the dojo on Sunday.

Wish I could go, but that would be one helluva commute [threadjack] m2karateman wrote: Unfortunately, I can't go either day, since I have a golf outing on Saturday and we have testing at the dojo on Sunday. Good luck on the outing! I'll be playing both days this weekend myself (doesn't happen much, but the weather is beautiful and I have a couple Groupons that are expiring LOL). Finally happy that I've been able to lower my handicap a couple strokes this year (24), even with a back injury. Can't wait to break that 20 mark! Fairways & Greens! [/threadjack]

Give 'em a pat on the back, and let them know we support them...even in the "dark years" prior to this one. And tell them to please, PLEASE beat the Hell out of Chicago. I hate those guys....

 Re: Wanna meet some Lions??
Did anyone make it there? And if so, how was the turnout and were you able to spend more than a few seconds with the players? I thought about going on Saturday, but it didn't work out. Maybe next time.

I had plans to go though...
