GB won't give up the chance to go 16-0

Yesterday they were talking during the San Diego game that their priority is to win a Super Bowl, not go undefeated. Why risk getting Rodgers injured in a meaningless game? (I realize we're just rehashing the whole Colts controversy from a few years ago)

Very few things would make me happier than to see the Lions hand Green Bay their first loss of the season on Thanksgiving Day on national TV.

That's more of a wish than a prediction. [-o<

That's every teams priority in the NFL, to win the Super Bowl. I have to think that they would like to go 16-0, with the idea that they would reach the goal that the Patriots failed at achieving.

It's in the back of their minds......believe it.

Not only that, but, we would then have handed the Packers their last 2 loses.

Uh, nope. Green Bay lost to New England the week after the Lions beat them last year.

I said before the season that if we beat TB in week one, we'd go 12-4 and it I'm sticking to that. I think we match up with GB as well as any other team can. I think to beat them YOU HAVE TO GET TO AR12 OR YOU WILL LOSE. I think that they might have the 2nd or 3rd least intimidating running game We would've faced by that time we play them. It seems like the ground & pound game is what is killing us but that has'nt been GB's game, and while their O-line is pretty good, I think our front four are better. Especially in the dome

But Matthews scares me and I can see Raji stepping on Raiola's head. Woodson is legendary but Megatron has been a Packer killer eversince he's been a Lion and with Stafford and a very good supporting cast he can finally maximize his potential.

I don't think we are better than them right now but looking at their schedule, I honestly think we have the best chance to beat them. If they beat us, it won't be in the way that they've been killing other teams

I'm hoping for 5-3, but I'm gonna say 4-4. They've got a tough schedule down the stretch with only the Viking game being somewhat of a "lock". The Chargers have looked terrible lately, but they always seem to play well at the end of the season. I also think the Panthers are better than their record would indicate and the Raiders' running game will be tough to stop. Add in the Packers (twice), Bears, and Saints, and it's gonna be difficult to play better than .500 in the final 8 games.

Going 16-0 is an achievement in itself which might even be tougher and more exclusive than winning the Superbowl. On the other hand it seems like it can jinx a team. A team might have a better chance of winning the Superbowl with a 14-2 record.

I just changed my mind. two more wins tops. I'll go with my original prediction of 8-8 now.

If we play like we did today, I think we have seen our wins! 6 -10 is not out of the realm of very real possibility.
