 Kudos to John Wendling
Just wanted to give some credit to Wendling who started at safety against the Bears. The next man has to step up when injuries hit and he did that. That being said I hope Spievey is back for the 49er game.

Yes, he played well when called upon. I hope Spievey was held out b/c it's a short week and the staff wanted him ready for the 9ers.

Spievey was good to go with the hammy. His cousin was killed in a Romanian bar the night before or earlier in the day. Emotionally he couldn't go. He'll be ready for San Fran.

I did not know that. agreed that Wendling played well. We all joked about our secondary not having to cover for very long, but thats exactly how it turned out yesterday.

 Re: Kudos to John Wendling
I'm not sure about Spievey, when I read some quotes from him about his cousin sounded like he wanted to play to honor him. I'm thinking the Hamstring was still in question.
I'm hoping Coleman is over his ankle issue soon as well. I'm surprised the Cowboys and Bears didn't go after Wendling more and test him.
