Re: Choice This would have been a nice upgrade. For a change, we're playing to good to have a shot at him. As Wayne Fonts says, It's a nice problem to have.

Now that the Redskins have slid back to the middle of the pack, there was a chance that other, better teams made a claim for former Cowboys running back Tashard Choice, and that the Redskins secured dibs via their 3-4 record. The Lions, for example, could use help at the position, but their 6-2 record would have put them behind Washington.
Per a league source, only the Redskins made a waivers claim for Brown.
And so the Redskins will absorb the balance of Choice’s $600,000 salary. Though he’s not a vested veteran, Choice could have filed an injury grievance, since he was cut while not recovered from a shoulder injury suffered in Week Seven against the Rams.
Choice, a fourth-round pick in 2008, has rushed for only 75 yards in 2011, with a measly average of 2.7 yards per carry. He became expendable after the stunning emergence of rookie DeMarco Murray against St. Louis. Choice will get a crack at his former team on November 20, when the Cowboys come to FedEx Field

Fisher or Joekel or Lane Johnson for #5 overall. I have settled on Johnson as my preference. The only thing Joekel and Fisher have over him is experience at LT. 2 years from now, Lane Johnson will be known as the best LT of this draft!
