I like the 1pm kickoffs too. This past Sunday I was rushing to do my fish tanks water change sat down and opened up the laptop to turn the stream on then saw it wasn't on till 4. Ruined my entire day lol.

Me too. Go deer huntin in the morning, watch the Lions at 1PM, and have enough time to hunt again at night.

being on the left coast, I like the later start time; 10am is just too damned early sometimes

FYI, check this link to see which game is broadcast in which markets. I use this every week since I don't live in MI.

I always wondered how do FOX and CBS pick what games you get?

I think it's mean to be a reflection of demand in particular areas, combined with quality of games. A particular region of a team will always get the game (unless it's blacked out). Then for further outlying areas, I believe it comes down to fans/demand. But, there are definitely some head scratchers too, so who knows.

All I know is that between being back in Ohio to visit family for a few weeks, the Monday Night game, and now being flexed into the later time slot, I haven't missed a single game this season here in San Diego. Usually I only get the Thanksgiving game. Pretty sweet to me.

It's all about the ratings, lucky for me is when I move out I am getting Sunday Ticket and NHL Gamecenter.
