 Stafford a Pro Bowler?
Wanted to get your guy's thoughts on this idea. I just did some Pro Bowl voting on NFL.com and based solely on stats, I had to vote Stafford as one of the QB's. I also voted for Rodgers and Brees. I know that Staff's been spotty at times but his TD to INT ratio is over 4:1 and we've been winning games.
Will that be enough for the rest of the nation and the NFL to vote him in should he keep up the positive plays?

In the NFC, I think it should go
Rodgers Stafford Brees

Sure, why not.
Everybody has their off days. Look at Brees on Sunday.

 Re: Stafford a Pro Bowler?
I think Rodgers and Brees are locks to make the Pro Bowl team. After that though, it could get interesting in the NFC. Stafford probably should be third, but both Vick and Newton will garner tons of votes because of hype, as will Eli Manning and Romo based only upon the teams they play for. But with that said, if one of the above QBs make it to the Super Bowl, they won't play in the Pro Bowl, thus opening up a 4th spot. That would greatly increase Stafford's chances, assuming that he isn't the one playing in the Super Bowl.

 Re: Stafford a Pro Bowler?
Sly, you mean with Staff playing in the SB it opens a spot for one of the other guys.
No way Romo gets in based on the first half of the year regardless of who he plays for (and the fans in Dallas aren't voting for him right now).
Newton isn't getting as much hype as he should right now given his play as a rookie. He has far exceeded my expectations, but Tebow is stealing his spotlight.
Vick played in it last year and was nearly the league MVP, how much carry over will he get?
Manning is actually having a pretty solid season and he plays in NYC.

 Re: Stafford a Pro Bowler?
Stafford is having a great year stat-wise and deserves to be the #3. I don't think he'll make it, since we're not a big time market.
However, Eli is finally playing like the #1 pick everyone thought he would be...rather than a pud. I've even heard some crazy rectum Eli for MVP talk. WTF?

 Re: Stafford a Pro Bowler?
Vick has no business being in the Pro Bowl this season. He just hasn't been that good.

Manning will get the third spot... but only because Stafford will be too busy playing in another game

 Re: Stafford a Pro Bowler?
I voted for the following Lions:
QB Matt Stafford WR Calvin Johnson TE Brandon Pettigrew DT Ndamukong Suh DE Cliff Avril CB Chris Houston K Jason Hanson ST John Wendling
I think everyone of these guys at least deserves a vote from us, their fans. They have played well enough to deserve that level of our respect.
