I hope his injury isn't bad because against the Packers he was looking like the same Kevin Smith that faced the Panthers. Making guys miss and showing good burst. Never before has he ever had that. He was getting gaping holes and rushing for 10 yards before even getting hit.

Supposedly a source close to the Lions told KFFL that Smith has a high ankle sprain, but not the "bad" kind.

I gotta believe that the Lions are scanning the FA's at RB. With Best on IR and Smith having any high ankle sprain, we definately need help fast.

We may have to use Best's roster spot for a CB and the 2 others that got hurt(can't remember who alof a sudden.
