Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Panthers
Now you bench him, NOW YOU DONT - Stafford is being a great leader by being out there in the first place. Keep it Matt!

Delighted with the result. It hasn't removed any of the concerns coming out of the Bears game, if anything it's re-enforced them. Still, got the W - bring on the Packers.

Kevin Smith looked great with those fresh legs, and Stafford really figured something out. First touchdown throw he look at Raiola and pointed to his helmet as if to say "good thinking" , wonder if it was something he said. Just sayin. Great game, mostly because we won.

Sorry you love mediocrity, not all of us like watching what the lions showed for the first half. If this team beats green bay, I'll eat my crow and say they're for real. As of now, they reek of the 2007 team with the way they're playing. You don't put up 49 points against good teams, you put up 49 against 2-8 teams with half their team injured. Beat a good team and start playing a full game of good football and I'll eat my crow.

There is some truth to what you're saying but I won't go so far as to say "they reek of the 2007 team with the way they're playing" They are better than that team. But you're right, they do have to beat a good team! Bring the Packers!! Let's get it on!
