 Lions-Raiders to be televised nationally?
There are four games at 4 pm on Sunday: Detroit @ Oakland New England @ Denver NY Jets @ Philadelphia Cleveland @ Arizona According to ESPN's site, the only FOX game at that time is the Detroit @ Oakland game. The other three belong to CBS. Will it thus be broadcast nationally at the 4 pm slot on FOX? http://espn.go.com/nfl/schedule (See Week 15)

Can't they 'flex' a 1 pm game to the 4 pm slot?

CBS has the double header next weekend so no, the Lions game will not be shown nationally. Fox will play only one game, whichever local game there is. http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/

I love Sunday ticket. Don't have to worry about it. $135.34 well spent

You would figure that after spending billions of dollars per year for the TV rights, that CBS and FOX would demand to show two games each every Sunday. It's the fans that lose IMO.

Fox in Chicago regularly shows one game. The other slot usually has a rerun of the Ghost Whisperer.

I'm pretty sure that even with the larger deal, the local affiliates have to pay for each game. They have probably made the calculation that most non-local team games are not worth it.
