 Re: Lions Select Tahir Whitehead - OLB , Temple (Rd 5) You expect first rounders to start and the Lions had two first round picks and the first pick of the second round that year (virutally a first rounder). They actually netted two other starters in the draft with Levy and SLH (who started most of the season as a rookie). So let's push the number up to 5 rookie starters. Hill is still starter worthy, the Lions just got a very good FA and two early first round picks at the same spot.
