 Interesting article Could the Lions have any potential of making something happen here, even though we just drafted Reiff? Aparently Jake Long might be on the way out (another stupid move by the Dolphins). http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... -in-miami/

Re: Interesting article 1. I know he's had some injury concerns, but I can't believe this a team would be that nuts.
2. If the Dolphins are that nuts....that would just be phenomenal entertainment.
3. If the Lions have a chance to bring him on...I'd love to say find the cap space...but how?
That would be 4 top two picks from crazy pay scale days on the same roster. I know if Miami released him (again just phenomenal opportunity for mocking) the contract would be void, but I'm sure Long would get some nice offers.

Re: Interesting article First...no way they release him. He gets traded if he leaves. The only way we can afford long is by dumping avril. And that's not even possible as he has yet to sign his tender. It's a nice idea, but Long won't be a lion.
