Fisher or Joekel or Lane Johnson for #5 overall. I have settled on Johnson as my preference. The only thing Joekel and Fisher have over him is experience at LT. 2 years from now, Lane Johnson will be known as the best LT of this draft!

Lions have signed CB Ross Weaver, LB Carmen Messina, WR Patrick Edwards, G/C Rodney Austin and RB Stephfon Green to practice squad so far. thats a pretty good job of keeping guys we had in camp. usually it seems like we end up taking guys from other teams. austin, edwards and messina seem to be pretty legit prospects. if edwards could be more reliable fielding punts he d probably be on the 53 man roster.
