I've always loved Winfield as a player but at his age and size ( was a small CB) he would have a hard time holding up for a whole season at S.

Bernard pollard released by Baltimore. Interesting to see what he gets. It'll probably be inflated by the nice run he had in the playoffs.

If I'm the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins I would be working under the table deals to get him to one of the teams, so he can knock out two Patriot players a year from now on.

Jets actually sound like the exact place he should go.

Apparently the Pats signed him

Very smart by them, they just better not let him hit anyone in practice.

Wjb's gonna be ecstatic about his. DHB fits every single thing he wants in a #2, and more

If DHB comes cheap, I think he would make a solid #2, the problem in Oakland was he's a #1. But I saw him coming on last year and into his own. If he can stay healthy, he'll stretch the field opening up things for C.J., Petti, and possibly Bush. I like it!!

Conversion, we may both be wrong on Jason Jones. He's playing about 10-12lbs lighter than I had thought he played in Tenn and his loss of speed may have been because he had the knee problem the entire time he was with Seattle. I was wrong in how they plan to use him and I may be wrong in thinking they are not using him as a wide-9 DE. If he's back to his pre-knee/ankle issue form then he is a KVB clone. It's possible he could be a perfect fit as the RE and be very similar to what a young KVB gave Tenn. I still would rather lose the wide-9 and have him play in the DT rotation, but I'm no coach and both Schwartz and Washburn know the guy very very well.

4 years, $16 million...

Garbage signing, IMO.

He's going to return kicks, be our primary RB, catch out of the backfield, and play in the slot where he may spread the field occasionally. I think it's too expensive and we should've paid $3 million a year for him max, but considering the fact that he'll be our Darren Sproles, I think it's worth it.

I actually like the signings now that the contract details are out. Bush got less than Michael bush, who wjb called a great signing and was clamoring for. Bush is more versatile. I hope they keep using bell more.

$4M/yr is a good deal for a starting RB with his versatility and the way it's structured is great also. This offense was incredibly good with Best and a bad online, I can't see how it's not going to be good with Bush.

Getting Bush without putting to much hurt on their small amount of cap space was a big win in my eyes.

Lmao.. I think he's about ready to change his mind, and will do so if we get Darrius Heyeard Bey, resign delmas and have a good draft. There's no denying that is a playoff team.
