3rd game is an automatic lose. The Lions have never won a game in Washington DC. EVER.

First four games are going to set the tone... They are definitely winnable. If we can manage to go 3-1, we have a shot at a successful season. I see 8 pretty much guaranteed losses on the schedule: GB X2, Baltimore, Washington, New York, Pitt, and December 29th at Minny. It's kind of silly to call a game a "must win" early in the season, but I feel the AZ game could make or break setting the tone for 2013.

Why u think Pitt is an automatic loss? I don't see them being that great of a team.

They're not great, they're just solid, and they come prepared every week. They have a good OL, they have a running game, and Ben rarely gets sacked. That's enough to beat us.

that one looks pretty scary but if RGIII gets popped a few times early, all bets are off. thats stat is a b*** but this team has potential to be the most complete team we've had in....

They may not have Big Ben when they play the Lions. He's been starting to miss a couple games every year from the bad pass blocking he gets. If the Lions catch a break they will get a Charlie Batch game.

THe Irony of this being that though it wouldnt have helped us into the playoffs or anything lasr season, it was the AZ game we all counted on being winnable to help salvage the season... and they RAPED us. :/

Hey, at least we play at green bay before winter sets in, I don't about that being a winnable game, but at least it's not a guaranteed loss this year...

Every other year, we play in GB early in the season. But, normally, we have to play in Chicago late in the season when we play in GB early. We are in Chicago on Nov. 10 this year. So, it shouldn't be bitter cold.

Week 16: Is that the Jets or the Giants?

Has to be the Giants, they have all the other NFC East teams on the schedule.

The actual schedule looks less scary than the "tied for second toughest in the NFL" statistic made me think it would be.

3 10+ teams in our division skewed the #s hard against us, but it still doesn't look pretty. A good season would be 8-10 wins, I don't see more as even possible without some major Breaks (Namely some QBs Legs).

IF we fill the 2 gaping holes in the line, I really like our Offense's chances to run with anybody. it's a matter of whether our D can make a few stops per game. I'm not nearly as optamistic there :(

IF Delmas stays healthy (I realize that's a big if) then we should be pretty solid in the secondary. Think the D-line will be better against the run this year; now we just have to find somebody who can rush the passer.
