Please use this thread to discuss this weekend's game and all things related...

Time to recover from the ugly trip to Lambeau and put another in the W column for our Leo's.

That said, anyone know who will be the QB for the Browns this week?

It's gotta be Weiden. And this is going to be anything but an easy win. I changed my origional pick for this game from a loss to rebound win.

Just hope Calvin is ready and able to play.
With Calvin, it's a win. Without Calvin, even money.

Yeah we really need CJ to play. If he doesn't this game could go either way. A healthy Chris Houston will go a long way to neutralizing Josh Gordon. And we've got to find a way to stop Jordan Cameron. Their running game doesn't scare me at all.

Calvin vs Haden will be interesting. I expect Calvin to come out on top of course. We're going to need Calvin, thats for sure. Cleveland is top 10 in both the run and the pass, so just because its Cleveland doesnt mean its going to be easy. Plus its at Cleveland.

I see a win, but I see offensive struggles again.

It depends on which Lions team shows up. The Lions can win without Calvin. They just need to have a better game plan. I think they should think about using some two back sets, using Bush and Bell in the backfield. Cleveland's linebacker would HAVE to respect their ability to catch the ball, and some misdirection plays from that could pay off. More two TE sets would be nice as well.

Against Green Bay it seemed like Linehan just gave up on the run game really quick. It's almost as if he expects that Bush or Bell is going to start ripping off long runs immediately, and if it doesn't happen he turns to the passing game. Use Bell earlier in the game to wear defenses down, then use Bush more later to allow him to work against a tired defense.

I don't blame the GB loss on Linehan, but his game plan against Chicago was so much better than his game plan against Green Bay, with or without Calvin.

It does seem like Linehan gets lazy at times with his playcalling. And not just for a few series, but entire games at a time. And he has yet to really test defenses as if he's waiting for something...but it never comes.

Bad news. Calvin has swelling around his knee. He won't practice this week. And he will be a game time decision again.

Yes. He was running individuals drills in the portion of practice open to the press. He could have been doing it just to spite Adam Schefter who said he wouldn't practice all week, but at least he's out there.

lol I saw the same reports. I wasn't trying to be an badonkadonk. There were a few upset that Schwartz told them he doesn't talk about it, and then Schefter reports that. And then CJ went out and practiced making them all look like fools.
