I'd just like to thank the Browns and Cowboys for doing their best Lions impression in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and thus making this game even more important.

also explains why the lions were able to beat both those teams

The Lions are playing some of the most uninspiring football I've seen in a while. I see no sense of urgency, I see no strong desire to make plays and win. Boneheaded penalties continuing, stupid play calling, dropped passes, poor passes, etc.

Absolutely painful to watch. Though the defense hasn't given up a TD, and got victimized by the referees on some sucky calls (and the offense screwed by an OBVIOUS no call in the end zone), you make plays so that you DOMINATE your opponent and take the referees out of the equation.

You know what?! I am sick and tired of seeing Matt Stafford holding his head with is hands after these crappy throws. He's done everything he can to throw this game away. He better pull his phucking head out of his azz, or this team will be stuck with a loser for a QB for many years to come. He has single handedly (in regards to players) done everything he can to ensure this team does not go to the playoffs.

The Lions just extended this guy and guaranteed him $94 million. That's a whole bunch of money to miss open receivers and throw picks when the game is on the line. That's a lot of money to give someone who then pays you back by committing 20 turnovers when your playoff chances are on the line.

Yep. This team was in the driver's seat after their second win in Chicago.

They just got thrown out of the phucking car.....

4-3 at home is inexcusable.

The Lions: The only team to habitually lose games because of the offensive team captains

We were reffed multiple times. Pretty disgusting

My heart goes out to the defense for always having to pick up the slack for these F***ing losers. We don't need Chris Houston BTW

Of all the players on the roster, no one has been more responsible for the last three losses than Stafford and Johnson. I hope Stafford gets destroyed in the media because I'm sure that that is the only way he is told about his flaws.

Can we stop Calling CJ the best in the game? He drops far too many passes for that distinction. We need to do everything we can in the draft to get another go-to WR(I'm NOT saying get rid of CJ). haha Matt Elam > CJ

I feel strange saying this because I've liked the playcalling for the most part this season, but ya maybe Schwartz is the problem. The QB needs SOMEONE on that sideline who is not going to just stroke his ego all season long and accept his nonsense. Same with CJ. It is absolutely mind numbing how a team with these weapons and a great O-line can accomplish so little(We were beaten by 6 FGs). I would seriously consider benching Stafford at this point.

Ok Im just done. Jim should be fired tonight on the way home. A 6-3 team leading a division with 2 injured QBs doesn't drop to 3rd place. If we can't win it now we never will. So guess what? We never will. Ever. I hate loving this team so much. If I could quit I would.

Anyone else feel like from about mid Second Quarter on they were just going to blow it?

I even managed to predict the game ending interception correctly. :( I was sitting there in a relatively empty bar watching the game and I sighed and said to the guy next to me "Here comes an interception." Sure enough, Stafford throws it, and a half a minute later someone else walking back from the bathroom asks "What happened?" I said interception and he replied "Wow man! You were saying he would right before I went to the bathroom!" ](*,)

I'm lost. 32 teams in the nfl and I continue to dedicate my life it seems to these losers. I'm starting to like Jim Harbaugh more and more.
