Predict the Lions' game-by-game results
I have done this before the last two seasons, so I only feel it necessary now. I was two games off last year, with a 9-7 prediction, and 9 games off before the 2012-2013 season, predicting 13 wins (lol).
vs. NYG: W. Ford Field rocking on MNF, it'll be a good game.
@ CAR: W. Carolina offense is not very skilled besides Cam. They're relying on rookie WRs. If we can contain Olson and limit their RBs' effectiveness, I think we can pull out a ugly win.
vs. GB: L. Green Bay always seems to devise good schemes against us. Rodgers is Rodgers. Disappointing loss here.
@ NYJ: W. Small score game, but we keep it close as their offense can't get it clicking, another team win.
vs. BUF: W. High scoring affair, but Manuel will make a few more mistakes than Stafford to give us the turnover advantage and win.
@ MIN: W. Bridgewater has growing pains.
vs. NO L: Two epic offenses. Payton gets the upper-hand on Caldwell again, as the Saints dominate the turnover battle.
@ ATL W: Roddy White isn't who he used to do. Julio is unable to carry his team to the victory.
vs. MIA W. Miami's run game, and passing game at times, are hazy. They struggle all game to keep it close, as our offense rolls fresh off the bye week.
@ ARI L. Arizona has an awesome secondary with Peterson, Cromartie, Buchanon and Mathieu. Bad performance by the offense, mainly Stafford, nets Arizona a win.
@ NE L: Patriots look to have an excellent defense coming into this season, and Brady will do his job. It's rare any traveling team wins at Gilette Stadium, nothing new here.
vs. CHI W: Offenses collide, but a big game from the tight ends gets us the W.
vs. TB W: Bucs towering offensive weapons will give us trouble, but not enough. Field day for the offense.
vs. MIN W: AP keeps it close, but a defensive score and consistent, run-first offense gets us the breezy win.
@ CHI L: Marshall and Jeffry are bound to go off on us at least once a year, it seems. This is the game. Over 125 yards for each.
@ GB L: Frozen tundra. We go back and forth, but as usual, Packers pull it out.
10-6, 2nd place in the north, 6th seed

Too early to do this since preseason will be huge for this team with a new coaching staff and new weapons for Stafford even if defense has mostly the same personnel. Eliminating Schwartz' game day decision making alone should be good for 1-2 more wins and the personnel is better. This kicker will need to produce.
