This is no surprise at all. The Lions pretty much told us they would draft him about 2 weeks ago.

I am just surprised it wasn't the last pick in the 6th.

Maybe we are trying to sell the rest of our picks.

Saw somebody say on Twitter that if we wanted one of the QBs, now was the time to take them. We have two more picks in this round anyways.

So how are we gonna relate drafting Ruddock in the 6th round to our 1st round pick that some hate?

I absolutely hope we take Butt next year. He IS everything that Ebron was SUPPOSED to be.

If we draft Butt, we can drop any pretense that Ebron can block, and convert him to WR.

Not a fan, much better talent on the board. If you wanted a supremely underwhelming QB, this was it. Yeah, it was a 6th, but there's WRs, DEs, and DBs on the board that are worth the development. Much better use than a short career clipboard holder.

No I'm ok with the pick. Just seems every thread the people who are against it have to remind everyone that they're against it.

I fully expect that we will draft Burnbridge with one of these 6th round picks.

Rudock should be good for the Lions. Film room guy that worked for a year with Harbaugh and is coachable. Moore was on the roster for years because of what he added in the QB room and Rudock should be able to do the same thing while being at least as good as DanO as a back up.

I like drafting for specific roles in the late rounds--see Sam Martin or Michael Burton.

We need a back-up QB. If they think Rudock can be that guy, then go for it.

What a disappointing way to start the 6th round. Must be Quinn figures if you can't trade these picks, we'll just throw them away.
