Levy is doubtful for the Titans game. Since he got paid, how many games has he actually played? I know it isn't very many.

1 game and like 16 snaps last season.

He didn't look the same in week 1 as he did in 2014.

Austin says expect him to play regardless of his injury status...so we'll see. They don't think he'll be out.

Would you expect him to play at an all-pro level after not playing for 13 months?

No. But, I do expect him to play.

Agreed. Personally I think he's done; this will likely be his last year.

I think people are going a little to hard on Levy. A quad injury is pretty common and it's just unfortunate that it's happened right when Levy just came back. He played a full game in week 1 after missing a full year of football, perhaps his body just wasn't ready for the impact and now he's banged up. Unless he's out for 2 more games it's a little early to be calling him done. Also considering all the other injuries at linebacker maybe there is something in the coaching or training that is putting the linebackers at a higher risk for injury.

He got paid and then had plenty of stamina and endurance to do all kinds of crazy stupid crap and then couldn't get his anus on the field last season. This season is just a continuation of last season as far as I am concerned.

The rust was obvious in the first game, and he appeared (too me) to be a liability at times. I don't believe he's done, but clearly wasn't the player he was prior to the injury.

Agreed. IMO he doesn't seem to have the 'fire' he had before.

The things Levy did in the offseason are in no way comparable physically to what it takes to play in a NFL game. Levy tried to play with the hip injury and aggravated the injury to the point the Lions decided to shut him down for the season, so he could have surgery. The guy has tried to play this whole time. Just because he speaks out about CTE and wanting the NFL to stop hiding the dangers of it does not mean he's lost the will to play.

The point is, you play 10 years in the NFL, IF YOUR GOOD/lucky. You then have the rest of your life to travel to exotic locations where you can catch their infections and do all the wing walking you want. He just couldn't wait. And it very well may have cost him his career.

He could also break his neck playing football and never walk again. You don't wait to do things in life because there is no guarantee you will be able to in the future.
