Post MNF GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs Packers
Big game for the Lions who need a win badly after a tough few weeks. Win and you are tied for 2nd with the pack at 4-4 two games behind the 6-2 Vikes. Lose and your season is in trouble.

Discuss everything about the game in this thread and GO LIONS!

On my facebook timeline stafford led a comeback win the same day last year. Im starting him in 2 fantasy leaguea where victory hinges on his performance. If we lose this game, im checked out until caldwell is fired. If we win convincingly ill still have hope

Lions desperate for a win to keep there chances alive and springboard to a potentially big 2nd half. It just so happens they head to the place where they rarely if ever put together a good performance.

Interesting the Lions stick with Dwayne Washington over Zenner and Tion Green. He s not as good all around as Zenner and he s a worse power runner than Green. Confusing to say the least. Jeremiah Valaoga also inactive in favor of Jacques Smith, maybe the new guy has some pass rush in him?

Win tonight and I think the Lions will win out to finish 12-4. Unless the Vikings win out except for Thanksgiving day, that will win the division.

How about our defense starting to act like they know how to play?

Whats encouraging to me has been Jim Caldwell letting Cooter open up the playbook the last two weeks. Stafford, aside from the red zone has been pretty much unstoppable and is completely shredding defenses like never seen before in Detroit. Not sure I ve seen him play much better and he s doing it with a marginal team around him. Add a sprinkle of Golladay in the red zone and maybe go get Asiata and say goodbye to Dwayne Washington and we may have something.

Other questions:

When Greg Robinson is healthy, who plays Mihalik or Robinson? Im leaning Mihalik here and maybe Robinson is a future drive blocking guard somewhere or maybe a RT. Rick Wagner, jury is still out on that one. Doesnt look like such a hot player right now.

Taylor Decker - Lions will probably need you against the Bears at Soldier, if not then definitely against the Vikings on Thanksgiving which is a must win.

Ameer Abdullah - fumblitis

Jarrad Davis - much stronger performance than against the Steelers

Not perfect but a professional performance in a game that never seemed in question. Let's build on this boys...

Being 4-4 at the turn offers a good chance to win the division. Getting Decker back will be huge and can't happen soon enough. Ebron actually catching the ball yesterday! If he can become a reliable option, we'd have a whole new dimension to the passing game.

I've seen enough of our running backs this year to be pretty much not interested in Abdullah or Washington. I want to see more Zenner. I'd also like to see us use riddick more. We've barely used both of these guys this year.
