Vote for Lions players at:
http://www.nfl.com/probowl
Looking over the stats and the number of votes you get at each position there are a number of Lions players that should get consideration:
Shawn Rogers - interior lineman (perhaps the Lions MVP thus far)
James Hall - defensive lineman (near the top of the NFC sack list)
Eddie Drummond - kick returner (good average on kickoffs)
Roy Williams - wide receivers (R.O.Y. plus 5 TDs thus far)
Joey Harrington - quarterback (what? read below)
3 QB's make the NFC roster. I decided to take a look at the QB ratings for the NFC and this is how they came out:
1) D. Culpepper (He's in so far)
2) D. McNabb (He's in as well)
3) J. Harrington (WOW - but lets see everyone else)
4) B. Favre (6 INTs to Joey's 3)
5) T. Rattay (49ers are terrible)
6) K. Warner (only 4 TDs)
7) M. Bulger (10 TDs like Joey but 7 INTs)
8. V. Testaverde (can't vote for grandpa)
9) A. Brooks (the aint's aren't doing it)
10) B. Johnson (now a 3rd stringer)
11) J. McCown (4 TDs & 4 picks)
12) M. Vick (more picks than TDs)
13) M. Brunell (will he hang onto his job?)
14) M. Hasselbeck (more picks than TDs)
15) R. Grossman (out for season)
16) J. Delhomme (10 INTs so far)
After looking at all the stats I had to vote Culpepper, McNabb and Harrington as my 3 picks for the NFC QB. I couldn't believe my own clicking. BTW - the Lions haven't had a ProBowl QB in over 30 years.
