Agh, that was embarassing!
Again, the running game is our #1 concern...fix that offensive line!

Embarassing is right. The defense played well other than having trouble stopping Portis. How bad is Brunell? He looked terrible. He also got landed on by Big Baby a few times - ouch.
Special teams play was the difference. Thrash downed it about 3 times on our 1 yard line. The blocked punt won them the game. Terrible protection and almost had the next one blocked as well.
I thought Harrington played decent. He was off on a few passes and got hammered a couple of times. Again, too many drops though - uggh. Swinton looked like our best WR at times.
Williams is still bothered by that ankle but OMG that first catch was unbelievable...
Running game - well I can't talk about that right now!

we have certainly regressed the last two weeks. this team is losing its swagger and i don't see anything that might turn it around the next few weeks.
heck, the bears played better than we did this weekend...

I told you Pablo...throw the ball to Swinton dump Streets and give Eddie some play time. I know I know...but when Joey 1st came into the league these guys looked like they had a bit of chemistry(Eddie & Joey I mean)...plus he is just a threat if he can get that ball. Williams is the team and that is apparent...we need to somehow get our ground game going...so far it makes me sad like this -->

I agree about Drummond AlphaMale. If teams aren't kicking to him we have to get his hands on the ball. He's one of the few Lions that can take it to the house on any play.
I like, some of you, can't believe how bad the running game has gotten. Raiola just isn't cutting it at the center spot in my opinion. I never liked when he became the starter and I am still not happy about it. He's not the only problem on the line, but he is part it.
KJ needs some holes. Portis had a great day, but he also had some holes to run through.
Tough game at Jacksonville next week. Can the Lions bounce back to stay over .500?

What a weekend. First, The one of the casinos took all my money, and someone forgot to tell the Lions that they had a ball game to play. So that called for a bad day
Well the O line stunk up the field. With Williams being hurt there is no threat on offense. The D played pretty good in my mind. Gibbs High School RB pass was the only pass skins threw all day that was open. Harrington played so-so. Hakim had a lot of yards but dropped 2 passes on third down that could have keep some drives alive. Special teams cost us the game. THe Skins punter should have gotten player of the game he stuck 2 punt in side the 5 yard line.
After the game I had to buy all the skins fans that I went with dinner. But I had good seats and good times, Next year I hope I can pick a better game.
