Roy Williams practiced every day this week and Friday he practiced the entire time for the first time in about 5 weeks. This is very encouraging news.
Roy Quotes:
"I went through the whole thing today, you've got to try to get some time with the quarterback, you can't just go out there and practice one day and go out and think it's going to work on Sunday. You've got to practice every day. I think it's going to be a lingering thing. It's a tough deal and I wish it wouldn't have happened, but it did. I just have to play through it. I have to help the team win. It gets better, then something happens in the game and I have to come out for a couple of plays and then it feels good and I'll go back in again. It's not 100 percent, but it's good enough to play."
When the Lions rush for more than 75 yards they are 4-0, when they rush for less than 75 they are 0-4.
Lions receiver Az-Zahir Hakim practiced on a limited basis Friday, his first action of the week. Hakim has an assortment of bumps, bruises, and sprains, including a sore back and sprained right ankle. Head coach Steve Mariucci told the Detroit Free Press that Hakim would be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
