 Thought about our Struggling Offense
I was thinking here. Why don't we use Eddie Drummond on some offensive plays to draw some attention from Roy and others. I know KC uses Dante Hall like that so why can't we?
What are you guys thoughts on this?

cause we risk injury and will lose our top offensive weapon (who happens to be on special teams).
i'm guessing he is not a great route runner and does better on ad hoc plays. they could at least bring him on to run a reverse.

You got a point there about losing him to injury, but with the way the O has been struggling recently, I think it's worth a shot.

I don't think that Drummond is effective as a receiver, he doesn't know the position very well and isn't a diciplined route runner. I like your comparison to Hall of KC, but Hall isn't a good receiver either. He gets punished at the line of scrimmage by defensive backs who play bump and run.

I understand your point Brian. However just having him out there w/ his speed would help distract from other players.

Personally, I would like to see a little more creativity out of the offense. I know that trying to pull a trick play here and there can blow up in your face sometimes, but it may just give the offense a spark. If they actually pull one off, it may open the door for more oppertunities and it might just loosen up the opposing defense.
