Lions' rookie linebacker Teddy Lehman will have his own stretch of highway when he returns to Fort Gibson, Oklahoma following the season. A stretch of the four-lane U.S.-62 running through the eastern Oklahoma town will be renamed the Teddy Lehman Expressway, with a dedication ceremony planned for next month.

Lehman won the Butkus Award as college football's top linebacker and the Bednarik Award as the top defensive player in college last season while playing for the University of Oklahoma and was choosen by the Lions in the second round of the 2004 draft. His father drives on the road every day while making his morning commute.
