Not sure...it depends on what our receiving corps looks like IMO.

...our receiving corps AND our OL! As of now our OL lineup is...

Backus, Joyce, Raiola, Woody, Butler

That doesn't make me think Joey will put up stellar numbers...

I personally would like to see him play a lot but I don't think we can leave it all up to him if he isn't up to the challenge of starting yet. As a 2nd year OT, he shouldn't be handed the position because the starter left via FA, he should have to earn it. Maybe he has earned it which is why Mooch isn't readily pursuing an OT in FA. We definately do need quality depth though and I don't like the idea of starting rookie OL-men.

I can't say I like or dislike Victor Rogers, limited playing time. Why is he listed as an OG on nfl.com and an OT every other place? If that's the case, is he worse than Joyce/Loverne at OG?

I'm not as down on Joey as I know many are. I don't see him in the Pro Bowl, but I do think he can lead this team to the playoffs. I liked what I saw early in 2004 and in the last few games. Consistency is the name of the game for him.

Seems like 2004 is do or die time for Joey. It's about time he does it after three seasons in the books. He doesn't need to be spectacular, Roy, Charles and Marcus should help him out plenty, along with a strong ground game behind KJ.

Put up or shut up ballgame!

Yo! Joey is good enough to lead a team into the playoffs. He is not good enough to be the highest paid offensive player on a team though or its focal point. He will NEVER be an elite QB, and costs way too much vs the salary cap.
His dependable surrounding weapons now are KJ and Roy Williams. Rogers is a wildcard. Pollard is aging plus how much of his success was because of the Colts O? TEs are not a legitimate scapegoat. Stephen A wont be back but Pollard is not much of an improvement. I am not so sure we have made any offensive progress this offseason besides Roy and KJ's workout routines. Hopefully Garcia gets a fair shake.

I can't find the answer which I would vote for. I think he will not do an above average job, but will nevertheless start in most games.
