 Mark Bulger to Retire?
Sportscenter reported today that Marc Bulger is considering retiring. He is due $8.5 million next season and has not been worth that. He may be released if he doesn't get cut.
The only reason this is news to Lions fans is that if he does retire/get released you can almost be assured that they will take a QB at #1, dropping Suh into the Lions' laps.

We mentioned this in another thread, but it deserves it's own thread. I believe he should retire or go to another team. The Rams are not going to be able to give him the protection he once had to flourish and either he gets out or he retires and doesn't tarnish his already short but decent career.

Protection was what they thought they'd get with Jason Smith, but he only played 8 mediocre games this year. I think Bulger will ultimately get released and then resurface somewhere as a veteran back up. Maybe the Lions could give him a look if they don't bring back Daunte...
