 Playoff Mistress
Ok so im a little late this year but I am curious as to whom you are choosing to be your playoff mistress this year.
let face it for over a decade now we HAVE to cheat on our fandom just to enjoy the playoffs.
So who ya "Tiger Woods'n" with?

I would have picked the Saints or SD at the beginning of the season, I got less interested in them this year so I think it was a quick fad.
I would have picked the Cardinals at the beginning of the playoffs, but now they are out.
I with the four left, I always like Indy because of the closeness to my home town and Peyton (best QB of all time). I really want a Minn/Indy SB with a tossup for division homerism or a man crush on Peyton Manning. Seriously, I could sit there and watch him lead drives all day long, he is simply the best that ever lived... I can't help but go with the man crush. I just have always not been very interested in rooting for other NFC North teams like I do Big Ten. Just can't get myself to really root for them.

I'm hoping for a Colts-Saints Superbowl. That way no matter who wins I'll be ok with it.

I'm pulling for the underdog in the Jets in the AFC and the Saints in the NFC.. got to love the hometown boy Brees being in Austin, TX and all.

Agreed, though ideally the Saints would win (Colts already have their rings )
Besides, what other NFL organization could be considered the Lions sister team? That's right! The 'Aints!

If the Saints make it to the SB then the Lions are only one of 4 teams not to have made it to the big show (and 2 of the remaining three are expansion teams).
I do think the Saints/Colts would be a very entertaining SB. My boss is a huge Jets fan and the Vikes are a division rival, so I'm good all the way around.

Part of me would like the Old Man to win it all, so then the bastard would FINALLY retire. But then again, it's a division rival and I can't stand the Viqueens, so it is VERY difficult to cheer for them.

"WHO DAT"-nation.
Though maybe if Favre makes it to the SB he'll finally call it quits for real.

I'm now pulling for the Saints. At the start of the playoffs I thought SD had what it takes to get at least to the AFC Championship...but I was wrong.

I'm with you here. I am so tired of hearing about all this Vikings and Favre bulls hit over here (I live in Minnesota). It's like Brett has been playing for Minnesota for 20 years rather than for Green Bay. You guys have no idea how badly I dislike this guy these days. I absolutely want to see him fall flat on his face and I do not want to see the Vikings in the Super Bowl. I'm just so tired of hearing about all this crap. Please end it. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

i want the vikes to win it.
for a couple of reasons
1. is one of my good friends fav team..hope they win it for his sake.
2. the farve factor. i would like to see the old man close to my age win one agian. and i want the retirement roller coaster to end permenantly.
one of the things that i think keeps bringing farve back, was that the packers came so close to getting into the SB the final year farve played for them. basically proved to farve he can still do it and he got so close.
if farve can win the SB agian he will retire for good, go out on top.
sorry to say it but getting deep into the play off's to fall short. is incentive for farve to try agian next year to get that final SB.
and every one knows by farves choice's in teams to come out of retirement and play for.. he wants to win another SB.

I'm rooting for a Jets- Saints Super Bowl. Either of them can win and I'd be happy with it. Here's why.
I can't STAND Peyton Manning. I don't discount his talent, but I'm so tired of seeing him on all those dopey commercials playing the lovable idiot...barf. He's really freaking good and I'm tired of them winning. I also have met numerous Colts fans who are jerks.
The Vikings are a division rival.
Jets play defense and run the ball; what I hope for the Lions one day. Plus Rex Ryan's got swagger and I like it.
New Orleans deserves a winner just as bad as Detroit does, post Katrina and all.
Mainly, I don't want to see the Colts win.

Come on Wayne... that is all the more reason to have a HUGE man crush on him with me, not hate him!

I'd like to see the Colts and Saints.
I absolutely love Peyton Manning, he is one of the best QB's of all time. With that said, I also like Brees and think he deserves a ring after the way he has played the last several years. So I'm a little torn.
I don't hate the Jets, but don't particularly care for them either. As for the Viqueens, we'll never hear the end of it if they win the freakin Superbowl.
In the end... I think I'll have to pull for the Colts, but won't be terribly unhappy if they loose.
Besides, the Colts and Saints deserve to go, they have both played great football through out the season and I truly believe that they are the two best teams in football this year.
