Oh, BTW - SB Thoughts, can we get rid of the outdated notion that "defense wins championships" yet?

I don't know. Who ever has the better Defense in this match-up should win. Now that Freeney my be out or limited I have to add a TD to NO's score.

I'm going to say that the Saints will win to further add to the Lions ineptness. Also with Freeney out I can't see the Colts stopping the Saints late in the game. I'll guess a low score (relatively speaking) because that's just the nature of the Superbowl

Right , because both have medocre defenses and 2 of the best offenses in the game.
Defense may decide this game, but it was Offense that put these 2 teams in the SB. (That and Farve being Farve)

I would love NO to win, but I can't see it happening.

I also said 38, but 34 for the Colts..nothing against either team, but this is going to be a good game

Reggie Wayne pulled up on that last TD pass attempt. He should have caught that, it's the Superbowl for God's Sake, sacrifice the body for the win. Geez. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

It looks like hamma77 came the closest and even had the margin of victory correct. I wasn't even close.

Gotta give it up to Peyton (saints) for the coaching. He came out and made BALLSY calls and had a great game plan. Love the fact that he saved different looks for the 4th quarter to throw Manning off, worked awesome obviously. I vote Peyton MVP...

32 completions (tied for most all time), 80+ % completion rate (2nd most all time i think) for a SUperbowl.
Brees is your MVP. Payton called a good game, no doubt, and the Onside was masterful timing, but without brees superhuman performance, they dont likely win. Dude was on fire and easily the best player / coach / etc on the field.
Suck it San Diego Chargers.
