 Ravens Trade for Boldin
The Ravens have acquired Anquan Boldin and signed him to a $25M extension with $10M in guaranteed money....less than what Burleson extracted from the Lions.
Baltimore gave Arizona their third and fourth rounders this year, and got a fifth rounder in return from the Cards. I can see Baltimore going with a CB in the first round, or possibly Dan Williams if he's still on the board.

Those numbers make no sense to me. This is an extension or "add-on" to his existing deal correct?
Not just a $25 Contrats with 10 Guaranteed. That seems way too little for a guy who has been dominant and waiting for his "big payday" for 2 years.

It was a 3 year extension on his current deal. The additional 3 years are for $25M with $10M guaranteed. Burleson got about the same but spread over 2 more years.
I think this was a great deal for the Ravens. They didn't give up too much to get him.

ILF is correct about Boldin's contract. It's either a 4 year, $28M contract or a 3 year, $25M deal, depending upon how you look at it. Either way, I don't think the Lions should have parted with a 3rd and 4th round pick for him, even though the Ravens did get a 5th back.

Folks are pretty pissy about that one down here in Dallas. So would I if you compare this to what they gave up for Roy "can't run a route or hold on to the ball" Williams...

You should be telling Dallas fans to have Romo throw the ball so that Roy has to make a circus stunt catch on every throw. He will catch every one of them. It's the easy ones he misses.
