Dont forget Chris Carter......Any one of us could of played just about as well as C-Pep with those 2 to throw to.

 Re: Russell released
Quote: JaMarcus Russell could be joining the UFLPosted by Mike Florio on June 18, 2010 8:38 AM ET Last month, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported that former Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell won't be playing in the AFL or the CFL. In the end, Russell could be landing in the UFL. A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that the expansion Omaha Nighthawks could be signing Russell, who would team up with running back Ahman Green in the team's backfield. There's still a long way to go before Russell would actually join the team, the internal discussions have begun, and they will continue. He'd become the second former first-round NFL quarterback to join the five-team league for 2010. Recently, Daunte Culpepper agreed to terms with the Sacramento Mountain Lions. Russell presumably is holding out hope for an NFL job. But he ultimately needs to ask himself whether it makes more sense to hold a clipboard on game days -- or actually get live reps against guys who are good but not great football players. Or maybe he just wants the steaks. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... g-the-ufl/

 Re: Russell released
His only shot to get back in the nfl is to show he can at least dominate "lesser" talent (I use that as a relative term as I feel Bollinger is a better qb then Russell will ever be). He won't impress anyone being on the bench. If he can't get a 60% completion percentage in the UFL he wont even sniff a third-string chance on an nfl team, ever.

 Re: Russell released
In all fairness to Pablo, he just wanted us to draft a potential franchise QB until we found one

 Re: Russell released
I've heard recently that Minnesota might be interested in signing Russell. I can't see why they'd want to do that, especially if they're going to leave Joe Webb at QB for training camp. Rosenfels is probably on his way out, leaving Jackson, Webb or Russell (if he signs) as their backup for Favre and potentially their "QB of the future". Scary thought for Vikings fans.

I'm staying away from that kool aid!
Seriously, this is a runaway train that is about ready to crash. What a waste.
