1st round pick signing problems...
I keep reading how 1st round picks are slow to sign this year. Well, let's think this through. Last year, the Lions had Stafford signed on draft day. As a result the salary scale was set immediately and no-one but SF had problems getting their guys signed.
This year, the Rams opted to not sign Bradford on draft day. As a result, he is still unsigned and despite reports that he and the Rams are close to an agreement, it could drag on indefinitely. And as a further result, the salary scale has not been set. So, no-one else can get their guys signed.
Way to go Rams

Your ineptitude is affecting the entire league. At least the Lions got something right after the 0-16 season.
The NFL should have long ago adopted a policy of having the #1 overall pick signed before he is actually selected or the pick would move to the next guy on the list that will sign.
Oakland thought they wouldn't have a problem getting J. Russell signed. They were wrong.
Miami was smart and had 3 guys battle it out to see who would sign for the best deal for Miami. Result: Pick signed before he was picked.
Detroit somewhat followed Miami's example. Result: Pick signed within minutes of being picked.
So here comes the bumbling, stumbling Rams. Who apparently learned nothing from the Jamarcus Russell ordeal in Oakland. Hope you enjoy your $50M bust St. Louis. Where's that big rubber stamp that says DUMB@$$
