Kevin Jones joins the UFLPosted by Mike Florio on September 28, 2010 3:58 PM ET
Former first-round tailback Kevin Jones has hit the end of the road in the NFL. And so he has joined a growing throng of former NFL players who now play for the UFL.
The UFL announced over the weekend that Jones has joined the Hartford Colonials.
Yes, the news is technically two days old. But since it came out during Week Three of the NFL season, we had to prioritize.
In five NFL seasons, Jones rushed for 3,176 yards. He scored 27 total touchdowns.
Meanwhile, guys like Sacramento Mountain Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper and Omaha Nighthawks quarterback Jeff Garcia have to be looking pretty good right now to a team like the Jaguars, whose quarterback depth chart consists of David Garrard, Todd Bouman, and Keith Null.
