 Renamed : NFL Player Arrests/Charges
Packers | Green Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge
Tue, 26 Apr 2005 18:55:39 -0700
The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers RB Ahman Green has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident. The Brown County sheriff's department said deputies went to Green's residence after a 911 call ended with a hang-up. The Pro Bowler was arrested at about 10:10 p.m. Monday, April 25, after officers believed a domestic violence incident had occurred. Green was taken to the Brown County jail, but he posted bond and was released. Packers general manager Ted Thompson released a statement that said the organization was trying to get more information. "We obviously care about Ahman and the entire Green family, and we will continue to support them through this time," he said. The organization wouldn't make further comments because it's a legal matter, Thompson said.

Whats wrong with these professional atletes? It seems that they are all either wife beaters, dead beat dads, pot heads, or juicers. They are so puffed up with their own fame that they seem to think the law doens't apply. Jerks.
I also hope this isn't a false allegation made for some settlement money.

Packers | Harris Denies Assault Allegations
Wed, 27 Apr 2005 16:56:52 -0700
Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers CB Al Harris has denied an allegation that he sexually assaulted an exotic dancer at a Florida strip club. A dancer claimed he assaulted her April 17 in a private room at a strip club. Harris said he has not broken any laws and will sit back to see what happens. His agent, Jack Bechta, said the sheriff's office has not asked to talk with Harris and he has previously been the victim of extortion attempts.
Hopefully this is just an attempt to get some money from a pro athlete. This abuse, beating bull needs to stop. This is rediculous.

Here's a good one that's a blast from the past:

Quote: Green Bay Packers rookie Najeh Davenport pleaded not guilty Monday to charges that he broke into a university dormitory and defecated in a woman's closet.
