LJ Shelton released & Rice to Denver?
LJ Shelton released by the Cards. No Henry/Shelton trade I guess.

I just heard that about Rice. I hope it works out for him (since he obviously wants to play) and that he has a productive year. 200 TDs would be a nice number for him to retire on.

200 would be an incredible number for him to retire on, I cant imagine that it would ever be surpassed.

That was off before the draft started...
The Bills got screwed there... they didn't want to make a deal, and are stuck with a disgruntled RB.

I know that, but the Santana Moss/Laveranues Coles trade was supposedly dead as well. I would have made the trade if they were just going to released Shelton. That would give Arrington some time to adjust as a backup/change of pace back or have Shipp at #2 if he beat out Arrington.

Buffalo wanted a draft pick, not LJ Shelton, hence the reason why the deal didn't happen.
