Re: NFC West Is Weak? Check This Out
Arizona is not close to as good as their record indicates. Their offense is putrid. They have Fitz and who else? A terrible line, no run game and an average at best QB. The rams have stars on all levels of their defense and as soon as they can get a decent oline and a true #1 wr they will be able to challenge SF. They also have 2 first round picks the next two years, will be very tough very soon. Seattle can run and play good D but the passing game is non existent. If I had to rank the two divisions 1 GB 2 SF possibly ahead of gb its close, Ill go with the elite qb 3 CHI 4 DET 5 SEA 6 MIN 7 STL 8 ARI

Re: NFC West Is Weak? Check This Out
I said it in multiple threads, but I'll choose this one for my mea culpa because it's active: The Bears D looks damn good. Lovie and Marinelli ( ) have got those old guys playing really well. Still not sold on their offense, but with D like that, it doesn't matter. With GB losing to Indy today, everything has been turned on its head. Bears are the best in the North with the Vikes close behind. Defense and good running games are ruling the day--who would've thunk it?

The only high flying pass offensive team that's doing very well so far is Atlanta.

And even though Atlanta has become more reliant on the pass, they still have a running game that needs to be respected.

I'm with you. That ranking is utter garbage. 1. SF 2. SEA 3. GB 4. CHI 5. ARZ 6. MIN 7. STL 8. DET There's a more realistic ranking. Green Bay isn't hitting on all cylinders right now, and can't be viewed as an elite team after having lost to Indy.

Re: NFC West Is Weak? Check This Out
I think Arizona is vastly over-rated. They will be the Bills of 2011.

The Packers and Lions are two teams vastly underachieving at this point. However, I think the Packers have the ability to turn things around faster than the Lions. We all know Minnesota is over achieving in a big way. Chicago is about where I expected them to be.

Re: NFC West Is Weak? Check This Out
We will see at the end of the year. I'd much rather play the NFC west 2x a year than the north. M2k had Detroit not sot those last 2 games(which very easily could have happened) would you still have them 8th? A top 5 O and a top 10 D. Record isn't everything 4 games in. Other than the turnovers we would have beaten the 3-2 rams by 20. Seattle is one dimensional and won't be able to beat any good team on the road. I'm still not a believer in Minnesota. Arizona has the most awful offense I've seen. No qb, bad line, no rbs, they have 11, that's it.

Green Bay on paper could be top 2 but they have yet to show it, how you ranked them is how they SHOULD be playing but half these teams aren't.

Re: NFC West Is Weak? Check This Out
I was just ranking them in terms of overall best teams in my opinion obviously some have overachieved and some have underachieved up to this point but it's still early
