Traded Allen and Bostic.

Both moves make sense: not great fits for their scheme. Although paying Allen his roster bonus means they pretty much bought a 6th round pick for $10m!

Will be interesting seeing how the team performs, given the message the FO's clearly sent. Will the players give up on '15 like the FO has, or will the prospect of playing for their jobs keep them in check?

Word is they are considering forte and Jeffrey.

Forte makes sense, since he's a FA next offseason. Alshon...now that makes absolutely zero sense. They dumped Marshall because he was replaceable.

Jeffrey is banged up pretty often and he's on the final year of his rookie deal. They may be looking to avoid committing big money to him given his frequent injuries. Jeffery also may not want to stick around with how bad the team is and they really haven't built much of anything through the draft.

Well, the Bears are looking pretty damn solid now. Game has turned the offense around and some of their biggest O weapons have been hurt for a couple games here and there. Amazing what a little retooling can do by getting rid of players (or coordinators) that simply don't fit the scheme or style.
