Post Pack Finally Get A Win But...
they lost Davenport for the season with a broken ankle. Pack fans have to be hoping for Green to come back from that leg injury strong. Farve looked good this weekend but even he cant do it by himself.

Too bad for Davenport. GB is really fighting the injury bug right now. I thought it was rediculous that GB was up 42-3 with 11 minutes left in the 3rd and still had Favre in. They missed a golden opportunity to get Rogers some valuable time. He could have gotten nearly 2 full quarters.

You are so right!

That's insane. It's dumb coaching.

I agree with you guys in regards to getting Rogers some playing time, but I think Sherman was trying to jump start his team, showing they can outscore opponents and give them some confidence.

Sherman would've been run out of GB by a lynch mob if Farve had gotten hurt somehow.

DHL,

I agree he would have been lynched had Favre gotten hurt.

But honestly, this same thing has happened MANY times over Favre's career (staying in the game long after they've won it). So I'm not sure that's the most accurate description of why Sherman was doing it.

Hmmm, maybe Farve just refuses to leave the game.
