Post Donovin Darius
Jacksonville safety Donovin Darius was fined $75,000 by the NFL for a hit on Green Bay's Robert Ferguson in Week 15.

"You violently and unnecessarily struck your opponent in the neck and head area with your forearm," NFL disciplinarian Gene Washington said in his letter to Darius.

I agree with Salisbury. It seemed like Darius was trying to get the ball, and it went high. He doesn't have a history of this, so I don't think it was on purpose at all. The fine was too much IMO.

I think we have all been thinking that way since the rumors during last years draft. Darius would really help solidify our secondary.

I think that someone like him, if not him personally, is who they need to look at, instead of a rookie. Bring some experience, bring some leadership and then bring the hits.

As a packer fan, i have no problem with darius, however i now hate Jack Del Rio. While Furgy was laying motionless on the field. Jack was on the sidelines smiling the entire time. He should have been over there yelling at darius for getting the penalty, like a few of his PLAYERS were doing.
