49ers: McCarthy to be named new OC

The 49ers will name Mike McCarthy as their new offensive coordinator in the coming days, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. McCarthy is still under contract to the Saints through February 15, but he was given permission to speak with other clubs. McCarthy served as the Saints' offensive coordinator for four seasons.
