Wow, a lot of people have been franchised this season.

Here is a short list... they could have been Lions

Darren Howard, DE, Saints
Rudi Johnson, RB, Bengals
Orlando Pace, OT, Rams
John Abraham, DE, Jets
Corey Simon, DT, Eagles
Drew Brees, QB, Chargers

An interesting thing that I heard was that Pittsburgh WR Plaxico Burress may be franchised. I believe that could be a terrible move for Pittsburgh. To pay a receiver that isn't even #3 on his team statsitically #2.5 overall money is ridiculous. With Hines Ward becoming a free agent next season, they could be in trouble if they do this. It will kill their cap giving a mediocre player this much money.

Hines is a big pimp. It would be sweet to get him next off season if he is a FA. none of these players seem to affect our plans though.
