i think in 5 years, they won't have enough money to have ANYBODY, so they will have to forfit 3 seasons.

That owner, Daniel Synder, is an idiot. He thinks that he can build the team himself with dollars. The Fords aren't great, but at least they aren't as controlling as Jones/Synder.

It seems the same way with the Titans. It seems they went from nowhere to going to the Superbowl in 1999 and it seems it's finally caught up with them this year, having to cut quite a few big name players.

It's reasons like that, that i am glad we don't have an owner to meddle with our team.

Wasn't Samuels' deal made so that it allowed cap flexibility?
They haven't been on the spree they have been on the past few years, this year. Kind of surprising... although they did sign Rabach.

That's some healthy cash (for an OT) to be very cap friendly...Plus the Rabach signing...
"The five-year veteran, who has been a starter since his rookie season, agreed late Tuesday to a new seven-year contract worth $46.5 million. It includes a $15.75 million signing bonus, the largest in franchise history, and total guarantees of $19 million. Samuels will earn about $23 million in the first three years of the contract."
They also just signed David Patten. Don't know the details of the deal.
More "Skins news...Coles was traded for Santana Moss...a deal the Redskins said was completely dead.

Why let a guy go and then trade for him a year later....makes no sense to me.
