 ATTN Salary Cap Gurus
I understand that the 2007 season is supposed to be uncapped. Could someone explain this to me? Does this mean that there could conceivably be a Pro Bowl- type team (see Yankees in MLB)?

It is uncapped as of now because the current CBA runs out after 2006. The owners are meeting this weekend, I'm not sure if talks about extending the CBA is on the agenda but I would think it should be.
They will extend the CBA in the near future - sorry no Pro Bowl type team will ever exist in football (unless you count the Eagles last year who seemed to make up half the NFC roster).

I think that that is great. I wouldn't have it any other way. That is one of the reaons that the NFL is way ahead of the other leagues, the Dolphins can beat the Patriots on any given Sunday. They probably won't, but they could. I don't want no stinkin' George Steinbernner.
