So how are we going to do this...it's going to take FOREVER!

Almost seems like we all need to get in the chat and make a list and have at it...draft style.

CO2, the way I see it, there are only three teams out of the five that anyone would want. If you choose COMPOST TURNER, your keepers should be QB Drew Brees, RB Steven Jackson, and TE Tony Gonzalez. If you pick ACE DEUCE BLAZERS, I'd keep three out of QB Ben Roethlisberger, WR Terrell Owens, WR Reggie Wayne, and WR Braylon Edwards. If you opt for ANDO'S COMMANDOS, I'd keep three out of QB Jon Kitna, RB Brian Westbrook, RB Joseph Addai, and RB Marion Barber. It's not that difficult, so pick a team and I'll give you access to the league as the 2nd owner of that franchise. I'll then delete the original owner, so it will be all yours. Then, I need to do the same thing with Roy and anyone else we can get to join.

C02 has taken over the Ace Deuce Blazers team and will keep Ben Roethlisberger, Terrell Owens, and Reggie Wayne. Now, I need Roy, Roy, Roy to tell me which team and keepers he wants. I may have found a third replacement owner (TNLionsFanatic), but I'm waiting for him to get back with me.

C02, I need you to accept the invitation in your email ASAP. If you did not receive it, let me know, and I'll send another one. Unfortunately, it's only eight days until the draft and I have yet to find a third replacement owner. Therefore, I think we're going to go with 12 teams this year. Sorry, Roy, Roy, Roy, but we must have an even number of teams.

That's okay, I think I have too many teams as is anyway. I'll just have to accept the fact I will only be able to beat you guys in the Yahoo league.

Roy, thanks for being understanding. I felt bad about doing that.
TNLionsFanatic, you were just one of a handful of people I PMed about joining, but nobody seemed to be interested, so I decided to keep it at 12 teams. Thanks for considering though.

I just finished reorganizing the league by dropping four teams and C02 has officially joined as a replacement owner. The only change made in the divisions was that Wags was moved from the USFL to the XFL. This has also moved some people up in the draft order somewhat, so you may want to check it out on the league site.

By doing this, several quality players have become free agents. This DOES NOT mean you can pick them up and keep them since the keeper deadline has passed. They will be available in the draft just like any other players that were not designated as a keeper. Because of this, you may want to look at who is now available and revise your draft strategies.

I should add a reminder that the draft will be next Sunday at 8 PM EDT. If you can't make it, be sure to pre-rank your players.

Thank you for all of your work on this and everything you have done to keep this complex league running. It has been quite fun :D . Too bad we have had a few drop out. The 16 player league made it quite a challange.

I look forward to my first championship after knocking on the door for the past two years.

Everyone bend over and feel the sting of Marth Stewart Everyday Inmates!!!

I agree, great work Sly. If we are going down to a 12-man league I think we should increase the number of keepers next year to five and perhaps add another bench player.

I second that motion. Could we add another bench spot this year for a 4th RB?

I asked to become a League Manager because I didn't think Billy had the time to reorganize the league being on the road all the time. My intention was to find replacement owners and/or drop teams from the league prior to the draft. Unfortunately, I could only replace one owner and had to drop four teams, even though I wanted to keep it at 16 teams. As far as I'm concerned, my work here is done and it's up to Billy and Rhys to run the league, unless they want me to continue.

Technically, this is the last year of the keeper league. I suppose it could be continued if most people are in favor of it. If that's the case, then I'd support keeping five players instead of three and allowing four RBs on the roster instead of three, but it isn't really up to me. Besides, I don't think many people like seeing me have LT and Brady on my roster every year. :D

I would appreciate if you continue on with the day to day running of the league Sly. I haven't heard from Rhys since a few months ago. So, I don't know what is happening on his end. And getting to stop for the night at a truck stop with WiFi is spotty at best.
