I'm not sure we need another bench position, but I think being able to carry 4 RBs is a good idea...
I would like to do another keeper league, but start fresh... I missed the first one completely and most of last years drafts and have been trying to dig myself out of the hole ever since...

With Billy's blessing, I'll continue with the day to day running of the league, but I don't want to make any drastic changes. With that said, I did make two minor ones this morning. First, I upped the number of RBs allowed on the roster from three to four. It just made sense to do it because there are only 12 teams in the league now and a couple of you wanted the change. I don't think there would have been enough RBs to go around if it remained at 16 teams though. I also increased the number of LBs allowed from three to four because I ran into a problem last season. If you play a DE/LB hybrid at DE, he counts against your LB total and you can't add one to your bench. Hopefully, this will fix that problem, but I may have to do the same thing with the DE position.

Thanks again Sly. I agree with your moves.
One more thing we need to resolve before the draft. Are we going to continue with this league or start over next season? Perhaps we need to put it to a vote.
This will greatly influence if we are going to go with a vet for a 1 year draft or if I need to draft rookies or young players that could be studs next year or the year after. If we decide to continue, I like the idea of 5 keepers with this 12 team league.

Is it even possible to do? I was under the impression you could only go 3 before you had to start over.

When BillySims established this league, he said that it was only for three years. However, I just checked the League Manager Tools and you can renew the league for as many years as you want to. So, I guess it's going to be up to everyone whether we continue or not and/or any changes that are made.
Just a reminder that the live draft is this Sunday at 8 PM EDT.

Wow, they changed it since last season apparently. It was 3 years and start a new league for the free leagues as of last season.
I'm in favor of keeping it going.
P.S. I had the RB's limited because there wasn't 64 good RB's in the NFL.
We will be hard pressed to find 48 good RB's.

Billy, I never would have agreed to having four RBs on the roster if it remained at 16 teams. With only 12, there are plenty of RBs to go around since many teams use the RBBC approach. Besides, I don't plan on drafting or keeping four of them, unless one of my guys gets an injury during the season and I'd imagine that several others will do the same thing.
As for continuing the league beyond this year, I'm all for it, but we'll see how many are interested at the end of the season and go from there.

Due to the load that I'm hauling, and it's delivery time, I will be driving at draft time. Don't take advantage of me now.

The draft room doesn't open up until one hour prior to the draft, which should be any minute now. Try again then.
