I figured you must have made that trade to help him out. It was pretty lopsided for him. Hillis has way more value than any of the other components traded.

Also, I'm probably going to send out a few proposals soon, but I'm looking for another WR to be a keeper. Pretty much anyone on my team is moveable along with draft picks. If anyone is interested, shoot over an offer.

P.S. I just found out I can push trades through as soon as they are accepted.

Yet again, Billy proves that he's dumber than I thought he was.

Hillis is now my practically ONLY keeper...

Pablo beat you to him. But, you could have picked up Plaxico from the FA pool.

I better clarify something about picking up players from the Free Agent pool. DO NOT pick up any rookies. If anyone picks up a rookie, 2 things will happen.

1. I will go into your team and drop the rookie from your team.

2. The pick you would have had in the 11th round will be 12 picks later and everyone else will move up 1 pick in the order.

Example:

If you were slated to have the 4th pick in the 11th round, you will drop all the way down to pick 16 which is right in front of where you would pick in the 12th round. ( I used my own pick as the example ).

So, let's not go there ok? Fortunately no-one has gone there yet.

I'm glad you said something...

Another clarification for the new guy... after the June 30th deadline, can I pick up keepers that others have dropped to make them my keeper?

Sorry. But, no. It wouldn't be a deadline then. And it wouldn't be fair to the other teams at the top of the draft.

You have the 1st pick in the draft and there are several good offensive rookies and there may even be some proven talent available to you there.

Just draft well, and you will get your team better.

I just needed clarification for trading purposes. If people were going to drop a ton I could pick up I would have a difference strategy.

Well, there are 2 or 3 teams that have more than 10 legitimate keepers. So, look through each team and count up how many players each team has that you would personally list as a keeper. Any team with more than ten might be willing to give you a decent deal. It's better to get something for someone that you would end up not keeping and get nothing for him. Even if it if just moving up a few slots in the draft.

Are we going to stick to this time? I mean that is 9AM my time and 7AM for folks on the West Coast, that is pretty early for us to start drinking beers and laughing at all your draft picks.

That is what I was looking to figure out if I needed to do. If not I was going to pounce on the deadline... now I need to get moving...

Anyone with "keepers" they have to get rid of anyways send my way for a 1-2 draft slot bump.

Well, you don't need to be drinking beer to laugh at your own picks. LOL. But, I am willing to move it a couple of hours later. Does Noon EST work better for you? I don't want to move the date though. Sly's Yahoo league drafts on the 28th.

I have a draft at 1PM that same day so I may have to bump it down later if we move this one down.

Just reminding everyone that there are only 18 shopping days left until keeper selections are locked in. If you are unsettled with your keepers, you are running out of time to deal.

Also, Take note that the draft has been bumped back 2 hours on Saturday, August 27 @ 12PM (NOON)EST to give the guys on the west coast a little time to wake up.
