 Name Change
Ok, for those of you who care, I have changed my name from DevilDoc, to WarEr4Christ.
DD was my old tag name from time spent as a Marine Grunt Corpsman (medic) and what I used way back when. As with anything or anyone else, I've come to a different place in my life, and will heretofor be using my current, much more accurate handle of WarEr4Christ.
Thanks Pablo for helping me make the shift, you da man!
Thanks!

 Re: Name Change
West Coast, who'd you serve with?
I served with RSC Leeward, Gitmo Bay 91-93, four year civilian, went back for three reserve years C Co. 1/24.
Loved serving with the Marines, and miss it even now. 8 years total service time.
Sly this is for you:
Dear President Obama:
I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request. I ask that you return America to its August 20th, 1959 borders so that Hawaii is no longer a state and you are no longer a citizen. Thank you,
Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu

 Re: Name Change
Why stop there though? Let's give Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California back to Mexico. Better yet, let's give the entire country back to Great Britain since Cameron has more of a clue than Obama ever will.

 Re: Name Change
In all fairness, the company I work for deals quite closely with illegals and helps to get visas, and citizenship and so on. The Hispanic people that I've worked with, or for are very hard workng and are trying very hard to make a living for themselves and their families, however, I don't agree, nor like the crime that comes with them. Graffiti has somehow become a "thing" with them, kind of like a dog pizzing on a telephone pole marking his territory. The kids, in the teen years, especially the boys, are driven to join the gangs, and I'm not sure why. And please don't get me started on the anchor babies, that's a dead law that needs to be flushed. But as I've said, I've seen the hard working, diligent, patient, nature of a people who are trying to make a way for their family.
I fully support securing our boarders, and deporting the criminals, and any who break our laws. If they're here, and the law enforcement is called out for any reason, dui, spouse abuse, graffiti, drugs, gangs and so on, one way ticket charged to mexico. But in truth, I've seen more of a work ethic from these people than I've seen from the 80's babies and mtv generation running around now. I'd gladly hire Hispanics over most of those who are feeding off the government teet as a way of life.

 Re: Name Change
WarEr4Christ - I like the new name. You know, up until now, I never new what DevilDoc ment. Now, I get it... I'm an Army man, myself. I guess that's why I never picked up on the Marine reference. Good for you. Thank you for your service.

 Re: Name Change
Thanks Hystrix, this is more of who I am any way, and yes there has been some confusion as to why a Christian would be using my old handle. I haven't been a Marine Corspman for 11 years, and I do miss it, but that was a different time, and it's a younger man's game now. However I still have a lot of the same old fight in me.
WCL: That's cool, flying the tankers is pretty cool too. I got a chance to fly around in the choppers down in Gitmo a time or two and that was awesome. Sure beats pounding dirt with your boots! As a Corpsman I was always running. Marines would take a breather and I'd hear "Corpman up" only to have take care of somebodies blisters. No rest for the weary.
Fastest I've ever forced marched is 4 miles in 45 minutes, Colonel said he needed a little warm up. That's darn near running for the shorter guys having the smaller stepp like myself.
Still loved it though!!!
Oh and Hystrix: ARMY - Aint Ready to be a Marine Yet. Gotcha!

 Re: Name Change
Nice. Of course the reason we have a Marine Corps - not everyone is cut out to be an ARMY Ranger... :p

 Re: Name Change
FMF Corpsmen are the best. Some of my best friends the first time I was in Afghanistan were Corpsmen.
