I believe the Tigers will win the Central, but it's going to be tough to make it to the World Series and/or win it. Their relievers still scare me too much.

I want to say they will win the whole thing, but what Sly says is correct. Hopefully Rodney and Zumaya will get back and start to be their old selves. Hell, with our lineup, if they 85-90% of their old selves, we'll be fine.

0-2 against the Royals...not starting out real well...
I wish we had pitching that didn't completely fall apart after 4 stellar innings. Verlander and Rogers both lost it after 4+ great innings.
This team is looking rusty.

Getting swept by the Royals isn't a good sign, but it should turn around at some point. On the bright side, the last two months of their schedule looks easy, so they could still make a run if they appear out of it early.

I am a little concerned about the Royals sweeping the Tigers even though I shouldn't be. KC has perhaps the best record in baseball against the Tigers over the last decade. They have been a constant thorn in our sides. They are pesky little gnats that just seem to have the Tigers number.
But, the concern I have is:
Have the Tigers heard too much talk about how good they are and that they are favorites to go to the World Series this year? Do they now think they can just show up at the ball park and they will get a win?
Someone needs to step up and be the EGO TERMINATOR.

I thought that was Leyland's job?
